Proposed redevelopment of Callow’s Yard has sparked a concerned response from the local community.
Around 100 people turned out to a public meeting on Tuesday to discuss proposals which, if approved, would see a mix of one and two bedroom flats.
Castletown MHK Richard Ronan says the main concern centres around the public space in the middle of the complex which would be lost.
He says whilst he appreciates retail doesn’t appear to be working on the site a way forward must be found:
