A discarded cigarette is believed to be behind a fire which broke out near Kirk Michael at the weekend.
Emergency Services were called out at around 9pm to approximately 35 metres of greenery hedgerow alight.
Firefighters were working for an hour to extinguish the blaze.
In a post on social media, the fire and rescue service say the Island is 'tinder dry' at the moment, and as a result - are asking people to be vigilant.
