A project enabling children with disabilities to try new sports at the NSC has been given £3,000.
Around 80 children from 13 local schools currently take part in Manx Sport and Recreation’s (MSR) Disability School Sports Programme.
The cash has been spent on equipment such as an indoor athletics kit, basketball hoops, curling sets and a variety different balls, meaning more sports can be taught and enjoyed.
The lessons take place at the NSC between 9am and 3pm each Tuesday.
