Disability discrimination work in schools continuing

The Island's education minister says work is continuing to reduce discrimination against people with disabilities.

Douglas North MHK David Ashford asked Graham Cregeen what funds exist for disabled adaptations to schools.

The minister says the department has been reducing discrimination against disabled people before this year's Equality Act came into force.

He says through small projects, the DEC continues to address individual students' particular needs to make sure all school are compliant with the new legislation.
