Director of Public Health to appear before Tynwald Committee

The Island's Director of Public Health will appear before a Tynwald Committee later this week.

Professor Hugo van Woerden will be quizzed by the Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee this Friday.

They'll hear from Professor van Woerden at 12pm in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas.

Topics will range from the Active Travel Strategy to the wider responsibilities of the Public Health Directorate.

The Members of the Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee appointed by Tynwald are Mr Rob Mercer MLC (Chair), Mr Tim Johnston MHK, and Mrs Marlene Maska MLC.
