Tynwald Members should be listening to the opinions of the people who they've been elected to represent.
That's the message from Rushen MHK Phil Gawne who's backing a new direct democracy website which allows people to vote on proposals which are going before Tynwald:
He says he's concerned about the "discontent" between government and the public and thinks the website will encourage people to make their voices heard.
All MHKs can use the online platform - Mr Gawne says he hopes people grasp the opportunity to be heard directly for the first time:
