An MHK has criticised the government's messaging over this week's fuel panic.
Rushen MHK Michelle Haywood says public trust in the chief minister has been weakened after filling stations ran out of diesel despite government assurances there was plenty of fuel.
In a Facebook post, she says queues at the pumps show people act on experience and perceived risks rather than government reassurances.
And she added government needs to admit it misread the situation and got its messaging wrong.
