DHSS Change Family Income Supplement Laws
Following a public consultation held by the DHSS there will be changes made to existing family income supplement.
Now only Isle of Man workers will be entitled to Family Income Supplement after a tightening in the regulations.
In order for a couple with a dependent child to qualify for FIS one must now work at least 30 hours a week.
The changes have come about through a need in the department to save money.
