It's currently projected the Department of Health and Social Care will be around £5.4million over budget by the end of the financial year.
That's according to figures from Health Minister, David Ashford MHK, in written response to a question in Tynwald earlier this week.
Onchan MHK Julie Edge had asked what the current budgets and end of year projections were for the DHSC, broken down by division.
Mr Ashford also revealed it's expected his department will seek approval for a vote for extra funding for this financial year - based on the next forecast - at the January sitting of the court.
