The Department of Health and Social Care says it's hoping to improve its gender identity services after a consultation exercise.
It asked 42 trans and gender diverse people about its current provision - and heard a litany of grievances.
Problems included a lack of communication between professionals, difficulties finding suitable care and a lack of active support.
The DHSC says it'll consider the views before putting improvement plans together.
