A formal strategy focused on improving services for those with autism has been delayed.
The Department of Health and Social Care says it will instead be focusing on making suggested changes that don't need a strategy in place before they start.
There will be a campaign to improve autism access and awareness, and make adjustments highlighted in the recent consultation.
The Island's first National Autism Strategy was originally due to be published by December 2022, but this date will now be extended.
