Details of new TT course crossing unveiled

A developer's unveiled details of a new pedestrian crossing on the TT course in Douglas.

Hartford Homes is building the pelican crossing as part of the Braddan Woods development, which includes 320 homes, a neighbourhood centre, primary school and retirement home on fields between Peel Road, Ballafletcher Road and Tromode Road.

But one of the planning conditions imposed on the project is a new pedestrian crossing across Peel Road.

Design drawings show the crossing will be just after Quarterbridge, linking the TT access road to Port-e-Chee playing fields.
