Derelict hotel to be demolished in Port Erin

A "blot" on Port Erin's landscape is set to be wiped out later this month. 

The derelict Port Erin Royal, on the promenade, will be demolished in the next three weeks. 

The former hotel - which was once seen by many as the entertainment hub of the south - has lay derelict for many years. 

Dandara has been granted planning permission to build flats on the site - something Rushen MHK Juan Watterson says people have mixed opinions about:
