Department of Tourism Invests Heavily in TV Advertising for Year Ahead
The Department of Tourism and Leisure used yesterday’s Tourism Awards to announce they will be investing a lot of money in TV Advertising in the new year.
The Island has seen it’s profile significantly boosted since the TV ad campaigns and regular feature spots on shows began over a year ago.
Tourism Minister Martyn Quayle said that although
£750,000 is a significant amount to spend given the current financial situation it's necessary if the Island wants to see it's Tourist numbers boosted in the coming years.
