The Department of Infrastructure says it doesn’t want the publics opinion on Castletown Square becoming more pedestrian.
In a post on Facebook they hit out at local press and media ‘incorrectly reporting’ this.
A public notice was published by the Department that asked anyone who wished to make a representation or objection to the proposal to write to them.
They now ask that people direct all questions to Castletown Commissioners in writing.
