Department of Health Terminate Patient Transport Contract With Liverpool Cab Firm

Liverpool Cab Firm Not Providing Sufficient Standard of Service Say Department of Health

The Department of Health have announced that a contract recently awarded to a Liverpool based taxi firm to transport Island patients in Liverpool for treatment, has been terminated with immediate effect.

This is due to the firm City Kabs failing to meet the terms of the contract.

The Department deemed the service provided by City Kabs not be to a sufficient standard.

Consequently the contract has been given to Bridgewater Cars, the company who previously had it before the change around.

Minister David Anderson said City Kabs were given every chance to meet the terms of their contract to no avail, therefore the Department were happy to resuming the successful contract with Bridgewater.
