Department Of Health Services Disrupted

The Department of Health on the Isle of Man have announced a reduction in some services today.
Some appointments have been cancelled. Here is a full list of services that are disrupted today;

Genitourinary Medicine Clinic (GUM)
Clinics are cancelled for this afternoon
The Results Line will operate until 1200hrs
 
Podiatry
The two clinics due to be held at Rushen this morning have been cancelled
There will be no home visits to the west of the Island Today 
 
District Nursing and Health Visiting  Appointments
 All NON URGENT appointments have been cancelled. Staff are making every effort to attend appointments where access is possible, however there are likely to be delays and so the public are asked to appreciate that there will be difficulties because of the weather conditions. 

Noble’s Hospital, Braddan:
Orthopaedic Clinic – Mr Barker – some clinics will be reduced - Patients will be contacted to cancel appointments. 
 Surgery Theatre Patients – Hospital staff will speak to patients as some operations will be cancelled.
 
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital
 
Mr Dohova – Dental Clinic cancelled this afternoon. Hospital staff are contacting patients
All other services are expected to run as normal

Chair Based Exercises – Ramsey Town Hall at 1030 hrs

Today’s Multi-professional Forum on the Live Well - Stay Well expert patient scheme has been cancelled as the speakers are unable to attend.
