Economic Development Make Key Appointments to Drive Economic Growth
The Department of Economic Development have announced a major restructuring of the department.
Among the key structural changes is the appointment of a new Chief Operating Officer, faced with the task of driving the performance of the department.
The Business Development Agency has been created, to be headed by Director for E-Business and Space Tim Craine.
The overhaul of the Department is intended to help the promotion of the Isle of Man as an International Business Centre.
The new look Department will also endeavour to provide training and development opportunities to meet the future needs of Isle of Man employers.
Economic Development Minister Alan Bell has said with the changes made he feels confident that the department can now progress their objectives more rapidly.
