The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says it can't find any emails referring to racist language from Ramsey commissioners.
A freedom of information request to the department asked for any such communication from November last year.
The department says it tried to narrow down the scope of the request to find the documents required .
But it says after taking all reasonable steps, it can't find the information requested.
