Those caught making deliveries without business insurance, will be ‘dealt with accordingly.’
That’s according to Police who are have caught local delivery drivers operating without business insurance.
Officers say if you are working as a delivery driver and using your personal vehicle to do so, you must have business use included in your insurance policy.
If your policy doesn’t permit business use, authorities warn you are quite simply not insured and if stopped will be dealt with accordingly.
It comes following several drivers having already been stopped this week for these reasons.
