An urgent question asking why her department decided to cancel this year's Food and Drink Festival was put to a minister in today's House of Keys sitting.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse asked the Minister for the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture Clare Barber how the decision was reached.
Mrs Barber responded saying that change was needed, with a focus on a series of smaller events.
She added that during the last two years of the festival, numbers had dropped:
