The Forestry Directorate takes delivery of its first electric vehicle.
The Forestry Directorate has recently been handed the keys to a Polaris Ranger EV, its first electric vehicle.
DEFA claim the vehicle has less impact on the hill land in terms of both its physical impact, as well as its carbon footprint, and will offer a cost-saving on traditional vehicle fuels.
It has a top speed of 25 mph and its lack of engine noise will mean it's ideal for use in the Arboretum.
