DED won't reveal potential Fort Street car park details

More parking is needed in central Douglas - but government won't reveal how many spaces could be created by building a new multi-storey car park.

The Department of Economic Development says it's in the middle of a commercial procurement process with potential developers for the Fort Street site so can't reveal details.

West Douglas MHK Chris Thomas believes the information should be made public - currently the Parade and Lord Street sites have around 360 paid for spaces:
