Manx Grand Prix organisers say they'll give an update at 3pm on whether this evening's qualifying session will go ahead amidst uncertain weather.
They explain it's because of light showers forecast for this afternoon, with further rain expected this evening.
Meanwhile organisers have confirmed tomorrow's contingency session will be used for qualifying.
Roads around the TT course are now scheduled to first close at 12.30 pm, and re-open no later than 9pm on Wednesday, August 19 - with two qualifying sessions to be held in the afternoon and evening.
