A teenager from Port St Mary will be sentenced in December after admitting assaulting a police officer.
Lee Jake Sheppard of St Mary’s Avenue appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 18-year-old admitted assaulting the officer in Market Square in Castletown on August 6, and at an earlier hearing also admitted being drunk and disorderly on the same date.
Magistrates bailed him in the sum of £500 to appear again for sentencing on December 8.
