The Minister of Community, Culture and Leisure says it would be easy to assume that his department has not been a success.
The department will be dissolved in April as part of plans to restructure government – with the various functions being split between the remaining departments.
Graham Cregeen says there have been difficult challenges to adapt to and services have been impacted more than any other due to government’s need to balance the budget.
However he says the department has actually exceeded any other in terms of improving efficiency:
Ramsey Remembrance service to be marked by maroon rockets
MEDS phone line to be down temporarily
Committee to examine link between poverty and poor academic performance
Police advice for trick-or-treaters to stay safe
How will Manx Care reduce the number of negligence claims?
Manx Language Festival to be held next week
Manxman sailings in doubt from tomorrow
