Day 2 Of TT 2010 Hopes To Get Underway On Time For Thrilling Day Of Action

Ian Hutchinson racing to take 1st place on Saturday

Mist and fog in the Douglas area meant that racing got underway 3 and a half hours later then planned on Saturday, it's hoped that wont be the case today.

The met office say it should be staying mostly dry through this morning and afternoon, with a small chance of an isolated shower developing. More persistent rain is expected tongiht.

If the rain stays away the mountain road will be closing 9.30AM with the rest of the course closing at 10AM.

It's for the 1st supersport race to get underway at 10:45.

Last year Ian Hutchinson and Micheal Dunlop won these races, both were on the podium on the first race on Saturday.

The suportstock is due to get underway at 14:15 Hrs.

After Satrurdays thrilling race there are high expectations for an action packed day. 15 times winner John mcGuinness had to retire on the first lap and Ramseys Conor Cummins had over a 20second lead when he had to stop due to mechanical problems so anything could happen out there today.

If the bikes aern't your thing then there's plenty going on across the Island today.

It's port Erin day with a full day of family attractions.

Tonight in Douglas the RAF aircraft, of battle of britain fame, graces the skies over Douglas.

Also skill and strength are on show in the bike balancing competion and the man of steel street challenge. That starts at 19:30.
