Delays at Dandara's new housing estate in Ballasalla are because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
It comes following reports potential buyers at the estate - Reayrt Mie could miss out on their new homes.
It's reported the developer has experienced delays in the manufacture and delivery of essential components and materials, difficulties in securing specialist labour and most recently - a complete shut-down of the Island’s construction sector.
In addition, the majority of the Island’s lenders will not provide a formal mortgage offer until a new-build home is three to six months from completion - this means some Dandara customers are now unable to exchange contracts on properties at Reayrt Mie.
However, if customers can exchange within 14 days, the sale can continue, if they can't - reservation fees will be refunded in full within seven working days.
