Police say a cyclist riding the wrong way over the Mountain Road has been arrested this morning.
Officers say the incident happened a short time ago when the rider flouted a ban on cycling there during TT.
They ignored members of the public who tried to stop them.
On Facebook police say cycling on the Mountain Road during the racing festival is banned for safety reasons, adding it's simply too dangerous.
