The counter proposals from the Communication Workers Union (CWU) to the Islands postal service are 'completely reasonable'.
That's the belief of CWU Postal Executive, Steve Halliwell, earlier today - the two parties are currently locked in a dispute over proposed pay and pension reforms.
Meanwhile, Post Office chief executive Simon Kneen has said whilst the postal service recognises the challenges, CWU's counter proposals add significant cost into the business 'over and above' its own suggestions.
Mr Kneen added he believes the latest post office offer is 'realistic, fair and financially responsible'.
