An inaugural Tynwald event bringing together representatives of the Crown Dependencies has helped to reinvigorate relationships between the nations.
That's according to MHK Ralph Peake who was one of numerous Island officials which welcomed delegations from the Island nations for the first Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) network event this month.
A series of private meetings were held between members of the three jurisdictions over three days along with a plenary session to discuss how the leigslatures could work better together in the future.
Head of the Jersey delegation, Deputy Hugh Raymond, says talks have been 'really productive'.
Meanwhile, head of the Guernsey delegation, Deputy Mark Dorey, added working more closely together 'could also help to change how the Crown Dependencies are perceived'.
