Crowds have gathered in Douglas this afternoon in protest against pedophilia and sexual assault.
Organisers of the protest are calling for harsher sentences for those convicted of sexual assault.
Those taking part formed a line of solidarity outside Douglas Courthouse and those who’ve put the event together gave speeches calling for change and more support for victims.
Organisers of the protest are also demanding for the likes of training and campaigns around the issue in schools for both pupils and staff and to raise awareness of the impact sexual abuse can have on both victims and the wider community.
