A unit at a government-owned shipyard in the north of the Island could be turned into a gym under new plans from a potential tenant.
Petr Krejci, of Greenlands Avenue in Ramsey, has applied to change the use of the Ramsey Shipyard on Ramsey's quayside.
He says he wants to convert the building into a crossfit gym which would open from 6,30am until 8.30pm each day.
The facilities would also have three dedicated parking spaces and in his application Mr Krejci says he hopes to cater for people in new homes being built nearby on North Shore Road.
