Tim Crookall has withdrawn his nomination for next week's Legislative Council election.
The Clerk of Tynwald has confirmed Mr Crookall, who had been seeking re-election, will no longer stand in next week's election on Thursday.
The former Peel MHK says he's now considering standing for the House of Keys in the 2021 General Election.
Mr Crookall is thanking his nominator and sponsors and says he still desires to serve in public life 'helping to deal with the challenges our Island faces'.
