A criminal case against a Douglas man accused of not completing community service has been dropped.
Edward Robert James McBride of Mona Drive in Douglas was excused appearing before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 26 year old had been charged with breaching a community service order between January and October last year.
However, prosecutor Barry Swain said he wouldn't proceed with the charge after new evidence came to light, and magistrates marked the case dismissed.
