Isle of Man Creamery has started a trial for recycling for its plant-based milk cartons.
It has stationed a large bin for them at the Western Civic Amenity Site accepting the empty entire milk containers which will be crushed, bailed and sent for recycling at a specialist plant.
The organisation says depending on the outcome of the trial in the West of the Island it could look to expand the idea to other areas in the future.
The company began rolling out its plant-based cartons in September last year.
