Isle of Man Creamery has moved to reassure customers over the price of its milk.
A new government order setting out minimum milk prices came into effect today, with the cost of a pint rising by 6.6 per cent.
But the Braddan-based operation says it won't apply to its products because it sells its milk in metric rather than imperial measures.
It says the price of a 500ml carton will remain at 85p.
