The Mountain Road is set to remain closed until almost 5pm.
Police say a crash means the route will remain shut from the Bungalow to the Creg ny Baa Back Road.
It’s as investigations take place – officers say it should reopen at 3pm.
The road had closed in its entirety earlier because of an oil spill.
