Covid vaccination 'dashboard system' created

Residents can now track how the Island's Covid-19 vaccination programme is doing.

A new dashboard system has been launched by government on the Covid-19 website giving the latest figures on numerous areas including the amount of jabs administered, how many people are booked in for one, and the type of vaccine handed out by either location or brand.

Stats will be updated at 90-minute intervals each day from 8am to 6.30pm.

Officials add during operational hours the data comes from multiple systems and so may appear out of sync for short periods of time, and there may be delays in displaying numbers relating to vaccinations not carried out in main hubs such as ones in care homes or in the community.

Health and Social Care Minister, David Ashford MHK, says: "I’m delighted are able to share some of the real-time data that is being used in our programme providing full transparency about the pace of vaccination delivery.

"A project like this requires a continual flow of accurate data. We use this to ensure that we are delivering against the JCVI priority groups, taking into account both first and second doses.

"Our data reporting requirements will change over time as the rollout develops, and we will adapt the dashboard accordingly."

The dashboard can be viewed via the link here.
