A Tynwald commissioner says a man who complained about being quarantined in the Comis Hotel in Santon suffered hardship, but not as a result of maladministration.
The man, identified in a report as Mr T, complained to the Tynwald commissioner for administration about the enforced isolation.
However, a report due before Tynwald this month says instead of returning and going to the hotel, the man stayed in a European country.
Commissioner Angela Main Thompson investigated the complaint, but found all the actions of the government had been legal under coronavirus laws.
