The public counter at Douglas Courthouse was closed earlier today whilst a security alert was investigated.
Police were notified at around 10.30am this morning and emergency services cordoned off the area for a short time.
The Constabulary has confirmed the incident has now been resolved and the counter re-opened and that there was no danger to the public.
No arrests were made.
