Dramatic photos have captured one of the Island’s largest visitors off the west coast.
Ian Young and his wife Jane were out in a boat off Peel when a huge minke whale breached beside them.
Manx Dolphin and Whale Watch say the whales will most likely have been following a food source such as sand eels, and are regular visitors to Manx waters.
They’re asking anybody who spots any maritime wildlife to get in touch with them via their website mwdw.net
