The film will be getting its Island premier on 18th of this month, with it starting in the UK from the 22nd.
The Island is gearing up for the first premiere screening of TT3D: Closer to the Edge set for nationwide release at the end of the month.
Thanks to a compelling trailer and some very positive early reviews there are high levels of anticipation for the film, which has been described as a life affirming joy ride.
It will follow the riders on their high-octane pursuit to become the King of the Mountain, all shot in 3D.

After seeing some rough cuts of the movie Community Culture and Leisure Minister David Cretney told 3FM he thinks it has something in it for everyone, and anticipates it will be a great success.
