Douglas Council's plans to renovate the promenade's sunken gardens have been approved.
The planning committee gave the go-ahead to the £1.4 million redevelopment of both the Marine and Queens Gardens this week.
It includes proposals for a replacement playground, and a ship-themed climbing frame for kids.
There will also be a skatepark, a slide and a hammock to play on.
