Douglas Council says its annual environmental campaign next year will concentrate on dog fouling.
At its last meeting, the environmental services committee heard the last major campaign had taken place two years ago.
Four campaign posters will be put up in areas thought to be hot spots for the problem, while social media and stencils will be used across the city.
The local authority says the costs will be paid for by the Keep Britain Tidy campaign under the local authority's membership.
