Douglas Council says it'll continue allowing drivers to pay by cash at a car park on the Promenade.
The local authority's Environmental Services Committee had considered replacing machines at the Bottleneck Car Park with card-only versions - saying only 5 per cent paid with cash, compared to 38 per cent 12 years ago.
Councillors heard scrapping cash payments would save money on collecting, processing and banking the takings from the two machines.
However, members voted to keep one cash payment option.
