Douglas Council leader Devon Watson has hit out at the government after Tynwald voted down a move to link the minimum wage to the living wage.
On Twitter, he accused the government of failing to live up to its promises to give Manx workers a living wage.
He also called for change, accusing the administration of failing to deliver on promises it made about housing.
And he said the Isle of Man needs a government that 'doesn't throw working and middle class families under the bus'.
