Douglas Borough Council is giving away 2,000 ash tree whips for residents and community groups.
The authority says it's in support of reversing the effects of climate change and also to celebrate national tree week.
Officials say those with small gardens are restricted to one tree per home, two for medium-sized gardens and three for larger ones.
Anyone wanting to apply can contact Parks Services on 696 330 or parks@douglas.gov.im - they're then available from Ballaughton Nurseries by collection only on Thursdays from December 5.
