The Treasury Minister has refused to reveal how much of taxpayers’ money is being put into individual film projects.
Eddie Teare was asked for a breakdown of the figures in the House of Keys yesterday but refused citing commercial confidentiality.
The Island’s media development fund was transferred to Pinewood film advisors in 2012.
To date four films have come through to the production stage, slightly ahead of the original prediction of two each year.
However Eddie Teare says he won’t disclose the figures:
