The cost of Manx milk may be about to rise from early next year.
From January 1, it's proposed a pint of IOM Creamery milk will cost 85p - up from 80p.
It's the third rise for milk on Island in the last 12 months - with a litre set to cost £1.45 - a rise of 10p and a 1.75 litre to be priced at £2.30 - an increase of 15p.
The Creamery's Managing Director Findlay Macleod has described this year as 'particularly hard' - adding operating costs throughout the dairy industry have increased significantly.
Further, Mr Macleod says the small increase to the cost of milk will help all local suppliers and the wider dairy industry 'navigate these extremely trying times'.
He's thanked all of the Creamery's 'loyal customers' for their continued support for 'fresh, Manx dairy products of the highest quality.'
